Physical Training to Enhance your Game

    "My goal as a trainer is to provide the latest up-to-date methods for the key areas listed above. It is my belief that training can not only lead to stronger bodies, but can also lead to a healthier lifestyle and prolonged longevity. Statistics have shown that all of the above mentioned elements are necessary to maintain a healthy body weight, combat injury, and in some cases, prevent disease and illness."


Strength Training / Conditioning / Plyometrics*

This program is designed to prepare volleyball players for the rigorous activity on the court. Strength training and conditioning will utilize different modalities to help strengthen muscles for overall health and weight management. These modalities may include, but are not limited to, weightlifting and overall conditioning with exercise equipment. The plyometrics phase will incorporate jumping technique and strengthening of leg muscles to help support knee structure and prevent injury. Shoulder conditioning will also be incorporated for injury prevention.

Agility Training & Stretching*

This program is designed to enhance the cardiovascular element of volleyball. Agility training involves running drills, speed drills, and balance exercises to help with agility and speed on the court.
Every good trainer knows the importance of proper stretching pre and post exercise. It is crucial to maintain properly stretched muscles to avoid injury and remain healthy in any sport and in everyday life.
